About Strobel Entertainment

Hi, I'm Jed Strobel, the filmmaker behind Strobel Entertainment. I'm based in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and I make cinematic, story-driven films for couples on their wedding day and for businesses that want to share their story.

Why I Film Weddings

A wedding film should feel like your day, not a template. I spend time getting to know each couple before the wedding so I know which people, moments and details matter most. On the day, I work quietly in the background, then shape everything into a film you'll want to watch for decades.

Whether it's an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, I film across Wisconsin, including the Wisconsin Dells, Madison and Milwaukee, plus Minnesota, Florida and destination weddings.

My Background

Before I picked up a camera professionally, I trained as an entertainer. That background shapes how I work: I'm at ease around people and cameras, and I know how to help nervous couples, business owners and first-time on-camera hosts relax and be themselves.

My work ranges from weddings to documentaries. I served as Assistant Director of Photography on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's The Nature of Things episode "Dances With Cranes."

On bigger days I work alongside a small team of trusted videographers, so every wedding is filmed from 2 to 3 camera angles.
