Madison, WI Wedding Videographer
Cinematic wedding films on the isthmus, from the Capitol to the lakeshore.
Madison is one of our favorite places to film a wedding. Between the State Capitol, Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, the city gives couples skyline, water and garden backdrops within a few minutes of each other.
We film Madison weddings the way we film every wedding: as a story about the two of you. We capture the in-between moments, the speeches and the dance floor, and craft them into a film you will watch for decades.
Planning a Madison Wedding: Tips From a Wedding Filmmaker
Use the lakes at golden hour. Lake Mendota and Lake Monona make beautiful sunset portraits. Ask your venue which shoreline spots are closest.
Plan around game days. Badger football Saturdays bring heavy traffic and full hotels downtown. Check the schedule before locking in a fall date.
Build in travel time downtown. The isthmus is compact but busy. A few extra minutes between ceremony, portraits and reception keeps the day relaxed.
